Day 3

Today, I woke up at 5:15 a.m. My schedule was to run the day at the quality check, and in the afternoon in the warehouse. But due to a misunderstanding I ran the whole day at the quality check. I started by looking for Hans-Gert in the warehouse. He is one of the checkers. He explained how he checks his main product, cucumbers and aubergines. He showed what he looks for in a product, to see if it is fresh, and acceptable to sell. He checks shape, size and the crowns for example. He also showed the process of the checking and further.
When Hans-Gert was done explaining, I went to Tiny, who is a checker as well. Unlike Hans, he doesn't have a specific product he checks. He goes by all kinds of products, from tomatoes to strawberries. For the rest of the day, I followed and helped Tiny with the checking, stickering and scanning of the products. We checked cucumbers, aubergines, courgettes, tomatoes (all kinds of sizes), strawberries and pears. I also stickered almost all of the boxes and scanned them to put them into the system. This went on the whole day, until I went on after this long day.
